In the beginning of the last year (2018) I didn’t know there was such a thing as a “surface designer”. I probably knew there were textile designers, but I had never given it a thought. While exploring the possibilities of digital art I discovered that I rather enjoyed making patterns and surface designs. It became and still is my idea of fun, distraction and entertainment. Basically my textile designs are a result of me playing. That might result in lack of consistency or style, but I’m not concerned with that right now. I really enjoy the process, and if I might say 😊 I love some of the results. You can find my designs as textiles or applied on other products in the links bellow.

Why Pod?

I have chosen POD services for my designs since this is the only realistic option I have at this time, though I rather like the idea of print on demand. If we only produce what people actually need or want, we could perhaps avoid overproduction.
